Each year, over 30 million in grant funding is given out by the federal government. If you are seeking a grant for specific areas the government wants to invest in – health care, education, finance – you stand a good chance for getting a grant.

As a single parent looking for grants, the government even offers a special class of grant just for you – single parent grants or single mother grants.

Grants are given out on the basis of your need – i.e. you won’t be able to qualify for many grants if you are making more than a certain amount of money. So apply for as many grants as you possibly can. The more grants you do have, the more grant funding you will have in the long run. You are going to have to apply for hundreds of grants, and you are  going to have to be persistent. If you are, there is a lot of money out there for you.
